Condolences - Michael A. Doherty

Michael A. Doherty

St. Michael’s Avenue, Kilmovee, and formerly of Glann, Charlestown, Co. Mayo and London

(Peacefully) at Brookvale Manor Nursing Home, Ballyhaunis on April 11th, 2021

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Catherine, son’s Anthony and Gerard, brother Martin (Sydney), sisters Mary O’Donnell (Hatfield) and Anne Conlon (Gurteen), grandchildren, daughters-in-law sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Michael will be removed to St. James’ Church, Charlestown (via Kilmovee) on Thursday arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12noon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. However, in line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held. The Doherty family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew him would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in his memory.

Michael's funeral Mass will be livestreamed -  here

In keeping with HSE, NPHET and Public Health guidelines, attendance at funerals is limited. Please respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time. If you would like to pay your respects along the way, please join the static Guards of Honour as the funeral cortège makes its way. Please ensure you maintain the recommended social distancing at all times keeping to the 2-metre apart guideline.

The family understand and appreciate that people would like to offer their condolences, we would suggest you use the private on-line condolence page.
